It's Time For Fall Y'all!

TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF FALL! Fall is by far my favorite season! Cool, crisp weather, Caramel Apple Spice from Starbucks, bonfires, s'mores, sweatshirts, harvest time, driving with your windows down, trees changing from shades of red to orange to brown, Heritage Day's, and listening to country music! This is perfection! This year I have the opportunity to experience fall in Indiana on a whole new level!
I am so happy that I am from our gorgeous state! The scenery is like none other, especially when the trees are changing! Thus far, I have visited with 25 classes and my teammates and I have been to 6 district kickoffs! The hospitality of advisors and members has been more than phenomenal! We are so blessed to have such gracious individuals open up their homes to my teammates and me just so we have a nice place to rest for a while! With our busy schedules, sleep is rare, but when we do have a place to stay, we greatly appreciate the warm welcome from members and their families! It  must be that "Hoosier Hospitality"!
For the past nine days, my teammates and I have been traveling all over the beautiful state of Indiana! Literally, all over! We started off in District III which is the far north east corner of Indiana and we ended week one in my home district, District XI, which is one of the more southern districts! This week we started in District II and we will end in District XII! Even after this week, the traveling is not over yet! Next week will be our last week of visits and kickoffs and then we will be off on our next adventure!
As I am writing this at McDonald's while we had a short little break before the next district kickoff, I know that I am going to miss all of this dearly! Time is flying by and I do not like it! I still cannot believe that we are almost five months into office, we have successfully completed our first conference at the Leadership Center, and now we are on week two of visits and kickoffs! The car rides with my teammates are a blast and I absolutely love getting to know all of the students! To tie this experience all together, it's FALL! God is great, the weather is good, and life is amazing!
